MOXI is a fractionated non-ablative laser made by Sciton. That means it treats a fraction of the skin’s surface at a time, leaving surrounding tissue intact so your skin heals faster with less downtime. It targets pigment, tone, and texture at a superficial level, making it gentler than ablative lasers while still delivering visible results.

Most clients describe it as a warm, prickly sensation. Your provider will apply a topical numbing cream before treatment to keep you comfortable. The actual laser portion takes about 8 to 10 minutes. Some clients experience mild redness and a sandpaper-like texture afterward, but discomfort during the treatment itself is minimal.

MOXI stimulates collagen and elastin production, which can improve skin firmness and overall quality over time. However, it’s primarily designed to address tone, texture, and pigment rather than significant skin tightening.

For clients with laxity concerns, we may recommend combining MOXI with other treatments, such as BBL HEROic or biostimulators, for a more comprehensive approach.

Most clients can return to mineral-based makeup within 24 to 48 hours, though we will give you specific guidance based on how your skin responds.

Active exfoliants like retinol, glycolic acid, and scrubs should be avoided for at least five to seven days post-treatment to allow your skin to heal properly. But don’t worry, we will send you home with detailed aftercare instructions so you know exactly what you can and can’t do after treatment.

Both treatments stimulate collagen and improve skin quality, but they work differently. MOXI uses fractionated laser energy to target pigment, tone, and texture at the surface level. Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries to trigger deeper collagen production and is often paired with add-ons like PRP or exosomes.

A single MOXI session is $500, or $425 for Society Members. Combining MOXI with BBL HEROic in the same session is $650, or $552 for members.
